How to compose a photograph? There is fortunately no answer defined in this question, leaving to the photographers a great freedom of creation. But a certain number of rules of composition are established and facilitate the creation of images. We will see in this article some basic elements of composition.
1. The division of the image
The gold rule
The gold rule was defined by a Roman architect, Marcus Vitruvius Pollio. This rule divides spaces into unequal parts, according to quite precise ratios.
