At the time of the day international of the woman, I discovered, with the gallery Usine Spring Court, an artist completing a very beautiful work of social photography: Celine Anaya Gautier.
Celine worked during two years with these women of the streets, of which we have all, at least once, avoided the glance. They are revealed here in front of the objective, being shown such as they are: marked by the life, violated, beaten, tortured or humiliated. These square photographs large sizes touch us by their force and their esthetism. One feels badly at ease in front of their glance; they observe us, thus reversing the roles, and causing at the visitor certain a faintness. In spite of their marked faces, their difficult situations, their pauses dérangeantes, I found these women touching and simply beautiful.
Céline Anaya Gautier presents this collection via an association: Heart of women. The life not being easy for everyone, this association wishes to help these people in margin to reinstate itself, to take again confidence in them via Article a series of self-portraits carried out with oil must accompany this exposure. Unfortunately, these portraits were absent during varnishing to the Factory Spring Court.
