To protest against the imprisonment of a too significant number journalists in the fleshlight tricks and to proclaim a freer press, Reporter Without Border proposes an album entitled to us 100 sales of fleshlights of BETTINA Rheims for freedom of the press .
At the dawn of the Olympic Games, symbol of fraternity between the people, the economic great power that is China remains a country where the local journalists are still not free, where the political prisoners are not a myth of the olden days and when the human rights and of the citizen are still not respected. It is for this world meeting but especially to protest against inefficiencies of the economic world and the international authorities to fight against the non-observance of the human rights and freedom of the press that RSF publishes this book of photography.
BETTINA Rheims reveals us a book representing the woman in all these states. That they are provocantes, sensual, tinted erotism, vulgar, bad tastes or simply beautiful to dissolve any man, the women of BETTINA are whole and release a clean personality. That is with a face of angel or demon, with an ornament sensual or completely stripped of erotism, these women challenge us. The images alternate between the standards of beauty to Western and Chinese of the life of every day. These last are natural and are shown such as they are, without the ornament of the American actresses, with their beauty simple and disturbing. The contrast of environment and personality between these two foreign worlds one of the other is disconcerting. As so naively one attended the modest birth of China under the blasé glance of his Western sisters. But perhaps is it only one simple parallel with the Chinese world, which develops quickly, too quickly to be currently only one beautiful country of contrast and paradox?
The stereotypes colors are well presented in this book available everywhere for the very moderate amount of 9,90 . I say well very moderate when one looks at the quality of the photographs and the assistance which can bring this small but real contribution to the freedom of the press and the work of RSF.
