Speak to us about this series of photograph 2 days in Havana
Is this photo series my first color, in any event, how not to be impressed by the bright colors of this country and not to want to retranscribe them? It is a series which seeks to show that the life can be strange if one pays attention to the details of what surrounds us. For all my photographs, I initially located a framework which I liked and which lent itself to the strange one, with the meeting D `elements, which, associated, composes one strong moment and shifted. Then I waited until it with what I had thought passes, which was not always the case obviously!! I tried to stop me on the small details of the decorations which surrounded me. I wanted to make a report which is at the same time graphic and aesthetic but which tells also a history whose main characters are the Cubans. Although having started by making photographs of architecture, I do not conceive any more photography without a human presence, a person with whom one is identified or with which one wants to divide something. But I do not conceive it either without a strong graphic aspect and of composition.
Did you know this country, flesh light com you discovered it at the time of this work?
I discovered this country at the time of a voyage in family. I was completely grabbed by the Cubans, their music, their love of life in spite of the communist oppression which they undergo. It is during this voyage that I carried out this report, it was last May.
